April 4, 2010: Perfect Dark XBLA and Final Fantasy XIII Reviews

Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64 was, and still is, almost perfect. And 4J Studios certainly did their job to keep that perfectness alive. With the up-resed textures, costumes, and environments, this game plays so much better than it did before. The best part is that all this maintains a smooth 60 frames per second! How's that for an upgrade, especially considering the original on the 64 played at Caboose (-1, that is negative one) frames per second... Read more here

February 12, 2010: Perfect Dark XBLA Next Month for $10!!!!!!

Yesterday, the peeps at 1UP uploaded a video showcasing Perfect Dark on Xbox Live Arcade in all its sexiness during the Microsoft X10 event. As has been promised for so long, the game retains all its old and ever so memorable features with the addition of online play where you would expect it (i.e. Co-Op, Counter-Op, Combat Simulator, the works basically). And you get this whole game, in 1080p, 60 FPS for $10!!! Not only are you getting possibly the best FPS ever made in smooth HD quality. You're getting it at a very, VERY reasonable price! Enjoy the video as much as we did!!! As long as the wait has been, finally a solid announcement!


January 26, 2010: Super Smash Bros. Melee and Dragon Age: Origins Reviews

Nintendo knows how to bring it to you. With the original Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64, Nintendo gave us a family-fun-multiplayer-button-mashing-capital-mayhem-fighting game that all could enjoy. With the GameCube release, they more than just revamped the game, they redefined it with more defined characters and definitions for the not so nostalgically defined Nintendo gamers... Dragon Age: Origins can be described, in a nutshell, as a nerd rage inducing LOTR (Lord of the Rings) rip off, especially on the Xbox 360. With ridiculously hard-to-master gameplay and many similar plot elements to Lord of the rings, this somehow turns out to be a decent game... Read more here
